Hi all, I'm new here.

I'm a Kingdom Rush (for iPad) junkie, recommend me something else to play for iPad. I haven't found many games that have the fun and polish of KR. I've literally played it to death at this point, but I'm still playing. I really need some recommendations for something else.

I'm guessing TD, so I'd recommend Gemcraft. It's pretty fun, and I believe there's an app so you can play on iPad

I should have been more specific. The things that appeal to me about KR are:

it's fun.
it's not to complicated, but does get more complicated with tower upgrades.
it's challenging, but not impossible.
it's graphically quirky and beautiful.
it's easy to pick and play.
it doesn't rape me of my money with IAP.

Doesn't necessarily have to be TD games either. I *heart* 2D stuff, no 3D for me.

TinyCo makes great Sims. Dragonvale and BattleNations are awesome, and Jetpack Joyride is also cool.

Thanks for the recommendations! I've tried a few games over the past few days, but I'm not clicking with any of them.

So far I've tried: Anomaly Warzone, Anthill

On the list:

Hero Academy - looks interesting, but I don't that's what I'm really looking for.
Machinarium - I actually bought this a while ago, but never got around to playing it. I'll give it a go.
re: TinyCo - thanks for the recommendations, but I game up on sims with "The Sims" game came out in the early 2ks! Only because they are so addicting. So I usually skip sims now.

I think one of the biggest reasons I like KR is because it's easy to pick up and play, but not necessarily easy to win. And it's fun. Like I said, I'm still playing levels over and over looking for different ways to complete them. KR 2 can't come fast enough for me.

I played Fieldrunners a lot on my iPhone back when that first came out. Maybe I'll give that a go too.

Found a pretty awesome game called Autumn Dynasty. It's very good with a good art style.

I still love KR more than this though. More recommendations welcome.

By "sims" I meant like "build and customize your ..."

I don't know if it's available for iPhone/iPad but I know it's available for Android so that 'usually' means it's already done for iOS.

Check out Radiant Defense. Great TD game, not as cutesy graphics as KR but still comical and the writing for the interludes is also somewhat funny. I would say it's a bit tougher than KR but that is a plus since you don't have the different difficulty 'challenge' modes for each map.
