I would be greatly satisfied with an offline 2 player mode. Online multiplayer could be too expensive to maintain and difficult to develop a fun experience for this game as it is currently designed

I have a few questions:

1.viewtopic.php?f=5&t=596 Will the game be named Kingdom RUsh, the sequel or is that temporary?
2.Any sandbox modes? Multiplayer? Any gameplay that will NOT be a part of the story line?
3.Is there ANY chance that heroes will be included in KR2?
4.Are the spells seen in the Desert Mayhem sneak peek the only new spells, or will more be released?
5.What old enemies will be included in KR2?
6.Will premium content buyers get any benefits in KR2?
7.viewtopic.php?f=5&t=595 Will bosses be as easy as this, or will you prevent players from doing this?
If you say plz because its shorter than please, I say no because its shorter than yes.

I made a vow of silence so I can't answer any of your questions :mrgreen:

All I can say is we take all suggestions into consideration.

Sorry I can't answer but we don't like to create false expectations. Some aspects we don't even know yet...

I definitely heard that shadows and bandits were returning, but nothing else...not sure where I heard that...

Good point Hallmonitor.

I was surprised as well when they started talking about 'all new enemies',
while they said this before. Once again, it might be my English. 'All new
enemies' could mean that the sequel will feature enemies which are totally
new and not necessarily that 'all enemies will be new', as I read it.

Oh well, we'll find out this year ^^

Speaking of the sequel – I know you get bombarded on your forums every day for information. What can you tell us about it?

At this point i can tell you it will be a new game with 3 new terrains , all new enemies , 4 new specialist towers , boss fights , new story and it will improve on the original while maintaining the classic aspects of the game. The story will pick up a few years later from the events on Kingdom Rush , and the game will take place south of the Kingdom in the frontier with the Azsare Desert.

Maybe they originally planned to include those (The sequel will feature mostly new enemies, i believe only spiders, wulves and the shadow archer will make a reappearance.) but created new enemies to replace them along the way? An alternate to the shadow archer shouldn't be that hard, even less spiders and wulvs. I can easily think about scorpions for the spider counterpart, since they do have a desert terrain.

Yup, in this case, that's it. :) "All new enemies" means that there will be completely new enemies, not that all enemies will be new. :)

I'm saying this from a language point of view only, though, as I can't say for sure if there'll be any returning enemies in the new game.

We just meant that most enemies will be new, we may only keep the Shadow Archer, the Spiders and maybe the Wulves from the first game. :) That means you wont see Trolls, Dark Knights or Ogres, each fauna will be in relation to its terrain.

Does that mean there will be all new terrains, or will you use the old ones too and have some more enemies that fit into there?

OwOw! They will keep the shadow archers? Why dont they change it like indians (with bow), native's (with bow), or another type of archer? W8 its ok not to put range enemies cuz they're too annoying...
Btw... If theres no GOBLINS, TROLLS and DEMONS that means there will be new races? Like............... What?
