i think the telsa needs a buff; maybe give it a faster fire rate, or replace the supercharge ability with a slight paralyzing affect maybe?

Yeah or the tesla tower dun have rate of fire i mean it just firing like laser and paralyze the target cuz its skills is too expensive

The AtSpd (attack speed) of the tesla and supercharge is more or less 2s, which I calculated with a stopwatch, the same as the Arcane Wizard. That's to say the skill of supercharge deals an AOE dmg 10/s, which is obviously weaker than "wrath of the forest" (15/s), let alone the twining effect. So I agree with TheHallMonitor, and a paralyzing buff (like 0.5s) would be a wonderful power-up

What do you guys think about this, keep the second skill (additional bounces) the same, but rework the first skill to this :

Significantly increase the attack cooldown (make attack slower - slowest in the game, slower than big bertha), but makes the Tesla tower attack everything within it's range at the same time. And the bounce effect will be applied to all of those attacks. Leveling it can reduce the attack cooldown so it attacks more than once per year. We can call it forked lightning or something.

On the flipside, the first skill could increase the damage of lightning attack proportionate to how many bounces did not happen. like we have a maximum of 3/4/5 targets depending on skill level, so the first skill could be a 10/15/20% damage increase based on how far we are from the maximum bounces. At maximum, say we are targetting a lone boss, this would be 4 wasted bounces, or 20*4=80% bonus damage on that single attack.

Also, I don't know what damage type tesla is, but it does not appear to be magical. Lightning damage should really not be physical damage, ideally I would like lightning damage to be a class of it's own with no reductions.

damage from the Tesla is physical; although sometimes i think it's odd that physical armor decreases the damage caused by a lightning bolt......

That's exactly what I mean. Lightning should be anything but physical damage.

Also, as it stands, tesla tower has little to no reason to exist. Big Bertha clearly kills ground better, and the infinite range homing missile is almost enough to replace a tesla tower in regards to air defense.

yeah, the lightning one really should not be physical, and I recommend it be "holy" just like "holy strike". And there should be some tough flying enemies (like griffins or dragons immune to seckilling skills) with high HP, heavy armors and great magic resistance, and then the tesla will be playing a great role in the challenge.
Then again, Big Berthas are way too IMBA (imbalanced).

speaking of holy strike, do you know what damage type that counts as? It doesn't explicitly state that it bypasses all resistances afterall.

It has been confirmed that holy strike does so called 'true damage',
which ignores both physical and magic resistance :D

Some abilities deal what we call "true damage", that can't be ignored or resisted in any way.
That's the case of poison and the sunray tower for example but i'm not 100% sure about holy strike, i'd need to recheck it but i believe it should be.
