And if you check the app store there are many reviews who now agree that it is not right to sneak in freemium ware when we have already paid! I love the new additions but they have gone about them in the wrong way!

I'll check out the text about the heroes at the appstore and change it if necessary. We never meant to mislead anyone about some heroes being payed, that's why half of them are free.

Yes buy them all as kr was cheap and the dev deserve all the riches they can get but make sure u tell them that we prefer it free in future or a one off payment as I basically paid for 1 game then 3 others lol which isn't cool!

I'm well aware of your point about in game buys, the first thing I did was to see if there was anyone on the appstore.
I also get irritated over some kind of in apps payments like when I was looking for an abc puzzle for my nephew and there was an app with just three letters for free and the rest to pay 1$ for each one.
But this one seems fair, the hero thing is not a big change of the game and every hero announced in the blog is free, besides parents should not give their kids the ipad username/pass.

How you dare call me ignorant and inaccurate when you say each hero costs £1.99 going against IH interests by misleading people who read your post. I'll tell you an easy way to convert units for next time, just type in google for example: 0.99 dollars in pounds

And explain why it's 3 separate payments which all equal individually the price of other AAA title games I.e. .69p etc. You also misunderstand me that greed is not a negative but a nec. I bought all three. Not because I have plenty of money, or it wasn't a big deal (because it's not!), but because I wanted to support the developers. Frankly, most games would have made heroes themselves entirely in-app-purchase. Be glad they gave you three to use. Instead of complaining, just give your bad Reveiw (for a game that deserves all 5 stars) and be on your merry way.
As far as you know, all the extra money from heroes could help them hire another developer to make KR the sequel.

Ok so I agree with some of what you are saying but i don't need to be rude which you are,
you are being personal and also by telling people to go away you are typical example of a blind fan rather than dealing with reality.....and reality is this.
Kingdom rush has for the first time a non perfect score on app store.
It has seven below 5 and three 1 star ratings so that means you are in the minority of one.
I have already clearly stated that
I am a fan
I have given my money multiple times
advised others to do so
I gave a 5 star rating originally
I sent multiple posts to kingdom rush devs saying thanks and well done
I wrote a blog on how good it was which received over 100 views, comments
I posted in forums promoting the game
I wrote positive reviews on game sites
so......I think I have the right to speak out if I dont agree with a completely different business model to the previous one and dont like them adding freemium ware to a full game purchase don't you lol

The issue if you missed it, is that they are not informing the public of this and all the issues associated with that deception also I am angry that they made me feel differently about my favourite game....my favourite game
and dude I do have excess money and nr every console ever and most the games, as I collect them and am a hardcore gamer who has moved onto the iOS platform for a multiple of reasons so I know what I'm talking about. I've seen it all and I have made an educated opinion as a member of the gaming comumunity so no I will not go away just because my view does not agree with yours.

Also I have emailed the devs. Twice And yet to receive a reply regarding the specific issue of lack of clarity on the ingame purchase issue in the update info. I.e. tell people if they have to pay in advance and warn parents of freemium ware.

These three heroes are only accessible by buying, but that does not stop you in ANY way to finish 100% of the game.
If you think is too much money, then don’t buy them. If you want everyone, being the gamer and developer, to benefit then pay the measly 3 dollars, and if that is too much for you, how do you have a computer; last time I checked those things cost a little more than 3 dollars. Also, if you think that you can spend your bucks on a better game, take them and go play and complain about that game.
I could understand if the game claimed to be free, but was practically unplayable without premium content (a fair number of MMOs and FB games are like this).
Are these people assuming the game must be like that just because there is premium content?

See my prior response to this supposed sneaking: kids need username/pass to buy anything, you can see if there are in-app purchases for any game on the bottom left (go straight to where it says ''top in-app purchases'), I know that in-app purchases are not popular and that many people rule out apps with them but i don't see any problem with KR's ones to get new sales since it's already a popular game and provides a nice free trial (three heroes). Get used to this hero thing because you may find tons of them in the future, sold in packs of 0.25/0.5$ each or whatever IHG business decides to publish its games

I just don't see anything better than the present freemium one actually. When the devs stop the updating of KR1, I believe they will release an ultimate version (off-line one?) and then you can have it with a price like $20 or more. Or you just have to wait for a long time for the final one without updating, which is certainly not wanted by most of us.

BTW, I'm not a game dev but I know they don't have plenty of money and they just need more to hire guys helping with the work. So please just stop whining and I believe it would probably provoke most of us in the community.

I got it what winchester is trying to say, but sometimes you have to be calm and keep it simple.

The Game costs 1-2 Bucks atm, and each Hero costs 1 Dollar.

Yeah they could add it to the discreption but come on, 5 fricking dollars for a good and fun game.

The Devs could also charge 10 Dollar (or even more) on Xbox Live or PSN, and look at Junk Jack there is a simple inApp for Golden Letters in the Titel Screen, only to Support the Devs.

So whats more Strange 3 Dollars for 3 Heros what changes some of the Gameplay or a Golden "Junk Jack" for 4 Dollars?
