Couple? That does mean 2, but I guess you mean 5-7, :ugeek: because I certainly wouldn't expect it in July. :o Though that would be epic, any game released after not really even a year :| after another game is released by the same company is usually very low quality. :(

I am quite sure 'a couple of' has the same meaning as 'some' :o

That's good to know. I hope to see it on the front of armorgames sometime this year then.

Also, am I correct in thinking it will be on iPad first, because that gives them the most money?

@Epic

It wouldn't be on ipad, because they've already begun the flash. I'm expecting the ipad version would come out sometime in jan/feb.

I expect them to bring out the flash version and the iPad
version simultaneously, in order to prevent the game from
getting hacked and distributed illegally by other companies.

Also, thanks for correcting my English. If I don't know
what I am doing wrong I cannot change it, huh? :D

1) That would make sense. They wouldn't want only one platform to be open because of a fake version.
2) Unlike Giangreymon, who knows it's wrong, has been right before, and is now wrong.

We don't like to make false expectations and we are a very new studio, we don't know exactly how much time it will take us to do something we never did before.

The same happens with percentage, maybe the last 10% of the task is the worst part and it takes lots of time...

And, most of all, we don't like to hurry. "It will be done when it's done."

Just try to be patient [/quote]

thanks. im glad you guys quoted, I'm sure you don't want to disappoint us so ill wait.

from waht anoter game dev tells me is he 9or they) write the flash game or th eiPad game first. Then they put it in a store. then they write the Kong game so that they get exposure to kongregate and peopple go to the store to buy the iPad product. so think of the flash on kongregate as the teaser game to lure player to the full gmae.

Well I see everyone's been busy in this area...

Though I am very appreciative about this "FAQ" being put up.

I "heard" that this was going to be amazing, but when I saw the first few posts here where the "FAQ" list was.

I had some concerns pertaining to:

"Will there be a multiplayer mode?
No, there won't be any type of multiplayer mode. You will still be able to brag about your achievements and challenges."

Oh sure bragging is great and achievements wonderful, but when it comes to people who don't care for facebook and twitter, which sounds like "!@#$ng @#$$", we really don't have much use for "bragging" unless we're able to show it off in "multiplayer".

Otherwise going around gloating about a game that "probably" no one knows about may look at you weird because they have no clue what you're "bragging" about and going to show them a game could be difficult depending on the person because they most likely are "busy".

Now seeing how other people seem to like the multiplayer as well, it "might" be strange to some to ask "why" it's not going to be put in the game, but I'm just saying... ;)

So right about now I feel like I'm 'bout done with the waiting for this "AMAZING" thing to happen or well anything "impressive" to happen and while doing this I think I'll have some time to "free up" so I can maybe do something "better" then sit here and wait for these so called "fireworks" to go off for this game.

I DID hear about a possible "survival" mode, that someone mentioned in here, and I was thinking that, and only THAT, might be an actual "good" reason to "look behind my shoulder" and possibly imagine about playing this when it comes out, but most "likely" even "Survival Mode" seems like it's "just not good enough" of an idea to have in the game.

I was "REALLY" wishing this was going to be as impressive to what I've heard, but so far I guess not.

Even though not much about this game has been said "Officially".

 LoL

Here is the real answer to everyone's question... the release date has nothing to do with the development of the game. I would bet the game has already been finished for some time now. However since they are still making money of purchases from itunes and from people who pay for premium accounts they aren't about to release a new free game that will no doubt cut into current sales.

Once interest (sales) die down then you can expect the new version to be released. ;)

That actually makes quite a bit of sense.
I mean, the devs need to make money right? So why release a new game, when they just boosted IOS sales with the heroes update.

Well you guys have fun with this.

I've decided that "IF" this game becomes as "promising" as it's "supposed" to be then I might play it a few times, but other then that everyone else can have fun with this tiny flash game.

It was amusing for sometime, but I have other creations to be concerned with.

If anything in "kRICit's" statements are true then I'd have to say they've gone into a "corporate" style of gaming, just like nearly every other game developer does, make great games and then turn into giant merchants/salesmen.

I'll never pay over $2 for a flash game again. When really I knew I could've payed less, but I wanted to "support" this because at the time it was amazing and I thought it had potential and that it would be able to become more "impressive"...

Apparently not...

I guess you're aware that they want to make a living into the very difficult video game market.
I wouldn't see any problem with delaying the sequel, what's more they would have more time to polish things and plan everything thoroughly. What's the hurry to play the new game? let the developers put all their love to make a memorable handycraft. I wouldn't mind that they released the game on Easter 2013
I guess this is another case of trollish post as the result of daily frustration

"Probably no one knows about." Except, you know, the 25 million or so on Armor Games, and 5 million on Kong. And all the iPad users. Etc. Also, I don't see how them being busy would severely affect how difficult the game is...?

On another note, the part about bragging about achievements and challenges. You say that people who don't use Facebook/Twitter wouldn't be able to brag. They would need multiplayer. Well... go into the KR part of the forum. Look for the topics about challenges. Right there. That's called bragging about challenges. It's also not multiplayer, or FB, or Twitter.

And, to finish this off, you asked why multiplayer isn't being included. The developers have already answered that, saying something like it's a cool idea, but they don't know how to implement multiplayer into a TD game. And it would cut back on their KR2 development, which I personally think should be their second priority. Heroes for flash first ;)

And, after all that, you're probably not going to see this. If you do, stop ranting about the game's flaws, because you're still coming back to the forums. Just enjoy the game how it is.

Except for heroes not on flash. :D

Kingdom rush is a large game with around four or five hours of good gameplay in it at least. A normal game costs about 50 dollars for 8-10 hours of excellent gameplay. An old game cost maybe 15-20 dollars for 8-10 hours of good gameplay. It makes reasonable financial sense to buy it, though of course you don't have to.

I am sure Kingdom Rush 2, being more of the same with a similar gamestyle, will be another four to five hours of fun. I am happy to pay 2 dollars to make it a little more fun.
