Evil Campaign

I think a really good idea for some premium content to add to either the first or second KR would be to add an evil campaign, where players can take control of all (or as many as possible through special abilities and upgrades) the enemy units they encountered in the main, good storyline. The campaign could be a prequel to KR, having the player conquer the levels in the first KR as Vez'nan. Map layouts could be changed so things aren't as repetitive. This would be really fun and a definite buy for fans of KR, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought of this or posted about it. So... yeah! Any KR game having to do with being able to use the bad guys is a must.

It's a tower defence. The game wouldn't be especially suited to this sort of thing. Also, that would be a massive amount of work for minimal benefit.

It could work having special enemy unit buildings to spice up some levels.

True, a dark/evil campaign has been suggested many times :D

There's even a small chance of being the bad guys in the Kingdom Rush
sequel, but that idea does not really have much to stand on anymore,
after seeing pictures of the game + knowing you will still be able to use
all the old towers and spells.

I do think it could work though, but as Nepene said, this is a tower
defense game. Therefore defending territory as 'the bad guys' could
work, but conquering territory would change the game too much, in my
humble opinion.

Also, an extra campaign takes a lot of work and I don't think it is worth it ^^

Well, in the defense of this idea, it also doesn't make sense to be defending right in front of the bas guy's tower. You should be attacking. This wouldn't be all that different. Also, if you are defending against constant harrying in KR, then you can do the same as the bad guys.
