For starters, you get 3 heroes at the beginning, that require 15 stars to unlock the hero room.
The 3 givin are those previously unveiled:
Malik Hammerfury, Sir Jerald, and Alleria Swiftwind.
As an in-app-purchase, you can buy the other 3 each for 0.99 USD.
There is Bolin Farslayer, Magnus Spellbane, and Ignus.
Hero movement is controlled with the finger/mouse. You can either tap/click the hero directly, then tap/click where you would like to move him, or tap/click his icon, then direct him to any path. While the hero cannot stand off the path, he can run through different areas to make where he is going a faster route. Each hero moves differently, as you can tell by their speed stats.
As with all skills, each hero has two, unlocked at level(s) two, and four consecutively. As they gain high levels, the heroes will increase in health, attack, and for some, armor. Skill power/duration is also increased.
First, Sir Jerald:
I am sure most of you know what he looks like, but his colors are that of a palidan, and he is slightly larger. The listed stats are Health 8/8, attack 6/8, and speed 5/8.
His skills are Courage, and sheild of retribution.
Courage increases the defense of surrounding troops (Reinforcements included), and last for around 5 seconds. At level 10, he can keep courage up and going for most of the time.
Sheild of retribution, I think, increases his personal armor, making him able to tank larger enemy's (Dark Slayer, Yeti, etc.).
I haven't tested this, but I'd anyone would clarify, that would be great!
Next, Malik Hammerfury:
Same thing with Jerald, only he is large, muscled, and carries a huge hammer! The in game stats for him, are health 8/8, attack 7/8, and speed 4/8.
His skills are Hammer smash, and Earthquake.
Hammer smash, is an area effect attack, and does decent damage, and has a large radius.
Earthquake, he pounds the ground, pushing up earth in a stream, damaging and stunning any enemy in range. Damage and stun time increase per level.
Third, Alleria Swiftwind:
She looks like a ranger, only a girl (the girl hero!!) with blond hair. Her stats as listed are Health 3/8, attack 3/8, range 6/8 (only 3 Hero's have a ranged attack, and it is super useful!
Her skills are Multi-shot, and Summon Wildcat.
Multi shot, starts out with only two shots, and increases as she levels up to 5-6. I haven't tested this either, please help guys
Summon Wildcat, let's her summon a wildcat, resembling a wolf, only more like a saber toothed cat. It has about 200 health, and does (I believe) 4-8 damage. It's mainly for blocking enemy's as she takes them out.
Now to the (Better) Hero's:
Bolin Farslayer:
He looks like a dwarf, only instead of explosives and lightning, he uses a gun, almost like the musketeers. His stats are the closest together compared to the other Hero's, making him a great all rounder.
Stats are Heath 6/8, attack 5/8, range 5/8, and speed 5/8.
His skills are minelayer, and Tar Bomb.
Minelayer, instead of directly attacking/benefiting, minelayer will throw a mine, and when an enemy walks over it, it explodes with approximately the force of a big Bertha shot! Only problem, is that if not used, they disappear.
Tar bomb, is utilized for the dwarfs arsenal, dealing damage to large groups of baddies. When thrown, it creates a huge puddle, of well tar. This lasts for a short time, reducing speed by what appears to be 50%.
Magnus Spellbane:
He is the Mage Hero, resembling an arcane wizard, only with more detail. He uses arcane magic, and is one of my favorites.
Stats are Health 2/8, Attack 2/8, range 8/8, and speed 8/8. (with speed, he walk normal short distances, but can teleport anywhere on the map)
His skills are Mirage, and Arcane Storm.
Mirage, let's him make a copy of himself, called a shadow, that will stand by him, attacking with a Mage staff, or blocking enemy's. They have extremely low health, but he can keep them out pretty much the whole time. He starts with 1, at level 2, 2 shadows at level 5, and three shadows at level 8.
Arcane Storm, is almost a hailstorm of arcane energy. It goes in a circle, lasting only around 1-2 seconds at first, but by level 10, it just keep going for quite some time. He can summon it farther then he can normally attack, but it has a long recharge.
(as with all attacks, I think he does magic damage, but like most things, hasn't been tested...
The last hero is Ignus:
He is the largest hero, muscled, and spends all his time on fire! When he runs he leaves a trail of it, and looks pretty cool.
Stats are health 6/8, attack 8/8, and speed 6/8.
Skills are Surge of Flame, and Flaming Frenzy.
Surge of Flame, let's him dash to the nearest enemy, rolling as a ball of fire. With this, he can dash to different enemy's, hurting them for a while, and then sends them on his way towards the towers. (that's at least how I use him)
Flaming Frenzy, is similar to Malik's Hammer smash, only it also heals him, in addition to hurting surrounding enemy's.
(at level 7, he can tank a yeti with no tower support, with reinforcements behind him throwing spears, killing it with out losing too much health
Well, thats all folks!
So go get an iPad (or wait until they go to flash), play some heroes, and don't forget to support the Devs!! Buy all 3!
(P.S, the iPad version is on sale again)
