Events
What are Events?
Events are special instances of the game where you can play with different and exciting rules for a limited period of time. Some Events may even change the whole game dynamics and meta.
How do I play Events?
You can play any currently available Events by going into the “Events” tab from the “Battle” menu. Most gameplay Events will require Event Tickets for you to be able to participate.
How do I get Event Tickets?
Event Tickets are mostly given out through the Trophy Road, through Battle Chests and from Mission Rewards.
Do Event Tickets expire after any Events?
No. You can keep accumulating Event Tickets and use them any time you want on any Event. You can see your current amount of tickets on the “Events” tab.
Summon Rift
What’s the Summon Rift?
It’s a special Event that gives the players a chance to get an exclusive and Limited time card, referred to here as the Summon Rift’s “banner card”.
What are the rewards I can get from the Summon Rift?
Aside from the exclusive banner card, you have a chance to get random Epic, Rare and Common card copies and also Coins and Gems.
How do I summon for a chance at the Summon Rift’s banner card?
You can use either 1 or 10 Summon Scrolls and summon rewards for that same number of Scrolls spent.
How do I get Summon Scrolls?
You can either get them by playing and winning other Events or purchase them with Gems or cash.
Do x10 summons have better chances than single summons?
No. Chances are the same for both.
Is the exclusive banner card only available during this event period (banner)?
For some time, yes. After a while the card card will either return in a new Summon Rift banner and/or it will be added into the unlocked cards of an Arena.
Can I still get the banner after the event ends?
If you haven’t unlocked the card by getting it from the Summon Rift, then you’ll have to wait for it to return in a future banner or for it to be added to the Arenas. If you did get it, you’ll be able to pull it from chests as you do with the other cards you have currently unlocked.
Is the exclusive banner card stronger than other cards?
Might be or not. Depends on the current metagame, the Arenas available and the rarity/rank of the banner card. Cards appearing in banners will tend to be tied to future Arenas or Events, either in utility, power or thematically.
Are cosmetics/skins included in the banner or only Heroes?
Might be included in the future. For now, you will only get the previously mentioned rewards. Main banner cards can be either Heroes, Towers or Spells.
What is the “pity system” and how does it work?
The “pity system” refers to the progress bar below the banner card on the Summon Rift screen, which counts the amount of Summons you do. Each time you summon a reward(s) using Summon Scrolls, the same number of progress is added to the progress bar. Once you fill the progress bar by doing the required amount of Summons, you will get the banner card in your summon with a 100% chance (guaranteed) and the progress bar will start again from 0.
If I get the banner card before completing the required amount for a guaranteed banner, does my progress reset?
No. You will still get the guaranteed banner card once completing the required amount of Summons.
Can I save my pity progress for the next banner?
No. Each pity progress is tied to the specific Summon Rift banner. Once the banner card changes, the progress will reset. So make sure to use your Summon Scrolls wisely!
How often do banners like this appear?
Every 2 weeks or so a new banner will take the place of the current one. It might be a new card banner, a repeat banner of a previous card or a new type of banner. Some banners can even require more or less Summon Scrolls, and some might even give out an exclusive Epic card instead of a Legendary.
Can f2p players realistically reach pity in time?
Yes. By engaging with the Missions and opening Battle Chests players will get enough Event Tickets to get to pity even without winning every single Event match. Even if you are unable, you can hoard the Summon Scrolls and spend them all on a future Summon Rift banner.
Is there any other way to earn extra summons without paying?
You can get Summon Scrolls by ranking in the Stadium Arena and getting the Ranked Rewards. For now, only winning in Events will give out Summon Scrolls aside from that.
Do Summon Scrolls expire after the event?
No. You can keep accumulating Summon Scrolls and use them on any Summon Rift banner you want.
Does the banner have boosted rates for other rarities besides the banner card?
Yes. Exact probabilities and rewards will be disclosed in the Global Launch.
Can I see the exact drop rates for each rarity?
Yes. In the Global Launch a button will be added to show the probabilities and rewards.
Onslaught
What’s Onslaught?
It’s a special gameplay Event where players try to finish waves before their opponent; any player who doesn’t kill all enemies a short time after their opponent does loses a life.
How do I participate?
Like other limited gameplay events, while the event is active in the Events tab, players may look for Onslaught matches by spending Event Tickets.
This particular event unlocks on Arena 4.
What are the specific rules?
-
After one player has cleared all enemies on their side (including spawned enemies from Towers and Boosters), the opponent has around 5 seconds to finish off theirs; if they don’t, they lose a life and the wave ends.
-
Card levels are capped at 5.
-
Players from different Arenas can match in this mode (hence the level cap)
-
The event has exclusive stages from the Forest and Mountain terrains.
-
Each day, a random stage is picked; all Onslaught matches on that day are played on the selected stage
-
-
Boosters and tower skills that spawn creeps have a limited time after the regular wave ends before they stop spawning
What rewards can I obtain from Onslaught?
Winning matches in the Onslaught event grants the player Summon Scrolls for the Summon Rift.
What happened to the Event teased in the newsletter?
That event will be added in the near future and it will be a way for players to easily get a big number of Coins. More info soon, but it completely changes how the matches are played…
