What are Friendly Matches?
They’re 1v1 matches where you can face your friends in the ultimate test of strategy (and friendship!)
How do I create a Friendly Match?
If you’re creating a match:

In the Battle menu, tap the Private Matches icon

Tap Create Match to generate a unique code.

Share the code with your friend and wait for them.
If you’re joining a match:

In the Battle menu, tap the Private Matches icon

Under Enter Code to Join, type in the code you received.

Tap Join and get ready to battle!
When do Private Matches unlock?
Friendly Matches unlock after Arena 5.
Are cards evened out for both players?
In Friendly Matches, all cards are capped at level 7 and boosters at level 6.
Can I choose which arena we play in?
Not yet! For now, Friendly Matches take place on a random map.
The game will pick from the arenas available to the player with the least progress.
Can I play cross-platform?
Yes! You can battle your friends whether they’re on Android or iOS.
Can I play with a player from a different region?
Yes. Some regions have high pings between them but it's not unplayable at all.
Does it count for daily or weekly missions?
No, Friendly Matches don’t count towards missions.
Do I gain or lose medals or trophies?
No. Friendly Matches don’t affect your medals or trophies.
Are there any rewards for Friendly Matches?
Just eternal bragging rights and the sweet satisfaction of victory.
My friends don’t play. Where can I find people to match with?
Join our official Discord server! There’s a dedicated Kingdom Rush Battles Matchmaking channel where you can find other players ready to battle. Find #krb_matchmaking under the Kingdom Rush Battles category.
