Hello General! Did you miss your favorite ovine reporter?
You won’t believe this one. I was minding my own business at the Alliance Camp when a portal opened under my hooves and swallowed me whole. I landed in a castle where everyone looked… younger? But a good reporter never panics. A good reporter finds a story! And right there, in the castle’s training yard, I noticed a princess turning a training dummy into splinters.

Sheepy: “Excuse me, Your Highness! Sheepy, independent press. That’s quite the workout. Are you training for something?”
Dalia: “A rescue. Today is Father’s birthday, but the princesses of Niroma never arrived. Bandits ambushed their carriage at the edge of Hushwood, and now they’ve sent us a ransom note.”
Sheepy: “Your father… as in, the King?”
Dalia: “I’m Princess Dalia of Linirea. Prince Denas is my older brother.”
Sheepy: “PRINCE Denas? Oh boy, that portal really took me back… Never mind! And these Niroma princesses, do you know them?”
Dalia: “We grew up together. Every year, King Banesti sends his daughters to celebrate Father’s birthday in his name… and every year, I half expect a ransom note to show up instead.”
Sheepy: “Wait… this sounds familiar. Is it true Niroma royals get kidnapped a lot?”
Dalia: (sighs) “It’s a long road from the east, and every bandit along the way knows when a royal carriage is coming. At this point, rescuing Niroma royalty is basically a Linirean tradition.”
Sheepy: “But isn’t it dangerous for you to go? What if the bandits try to kidnap YOU?”
Dalia: “Oh, they’ve tried, many times. It never ends well for them. Father had me trained by the finest fighters in the realm. He says a princess of Linirea doesn’t wait to be rescued. Denas offered to handle this one himself… right after the feast. I’ll be back with the princesses before he finishes dessert.”
Sheepy: “Remind me never to get on your bad side.”
Dalia: “Good idea. Especially now that our court wizard has a new spell that turns bandits into sheep… Hold on. Are you one of them?”
Sheepy: “I’m a REPORTER! Speaking of, your Highness, may I tag along? For journalistic purposes.”
Dalia: “Fine. Stay behind me, and try not to get kidnapped.”
So that’s how your favorite ovine reporter ended up marching into Hushwood. Stay tuned, General. This sheep has a story to chase!
Sheepy out!
